I have built my career in entrepreneurship and venture capital as a specialist in bootstrapping companies from zero to more than six figures in revenue within just weeks. In addition to VC investing, I also provide my expertise to companies as an Investor Relations executive on all areas of the capital markets, and as a Head of Silicon Valley Syndicate Club - Los Angeles Chapter at Network VC, I also facilitate co-investment opportunities for private investors to join deals with well-known VCs, such as Softbank, Samsung Ventures, BlackRock, Andreessen Horowitz, and Founders Fund. I am passionate about solving unmet needs with emerging technologies, creating technology success stories, and advancing global society forward for the greater good. I am a public speaker, an author, a San Diego Business Journal 40 under 40 honoree, and a U.S. Marine veteran with 10 years of honorable, decorated service on active duty and four combat tours. Reginal D. King is the Founder and Managing Partner of Alexander King Advisors (AKA), a growth capital focused professional services firm providing strategic advisory, capital advisory and investment advisory services to a select group of corporate, institutional, government and family office clients. Most recently, Mr. King has been instrumental in developing the private equity, investment banking and institutional distribution businesses of several globally focused, entrepreneurial investment firms. Immediately prior to founding AKA, Mr. King led the Internet, Communications and Technology (ICT) investment banking practice at Security Research Associates (SRA). At SRA, he created and managed the Firm’s inaugural Private Equity fund. Before SRA, he served as Co-Head of Global Securities for Libertas Capital’s (UK/UAE) merchant banking team. Before Libertas, he was Head of Investment Research at WR Hambrecht + Co and, subsequently, at Nollenberger Capital Partners. Prior to WR Hambrecht, Mr. King was a Senior Equity Research Analyst at JP Morgan (Hambrecht & Quist) serving, primarily, institutional and corporate clients. During his tenure in financial services, he has been responsible for over 80 successful investment banking (e.g., Broadcom, Nice Systems, Live Person, Comverse Technology and Interactive Intelligence) and 12 principal investment transactions (e.g., Facebook, Amber Networks and Witness Systems).
Before entering the financial services industry, Mr. King held several management positions of progressive responsibility at Hewlett-Packard and as an U.S. Army Technical Intelligence officer. A Gulf War Veteran, Mr. King earned the Bronze Star (2 awards), Meritorious Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Kuwait Liberation, Humanitarian Service Medals, and Parachutist Badge during his military service. He earned his B.S. in Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, and his MBA from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Business Administration.

Ayodele Odubela is a Data Scientist, AI auditor, and advocate of realistic AI policy. Ayodele began her career in tech by scaling marketing operations for VC backed startups. She received her Bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of Pittsburgh and went on to receive her Master's in Data Science from Regis University. With 7 years of experience working as a Data Scientist, Ayodele has gained a keen eye for identifying signs of hyper growth and product-market fit. Ayodele combines her background in communications and passion for algorithmic justice to interrogate the outcomes of AI systems. She has developed ML fairness education at Microsoft and is a LinkedIn Learning instructor teaching Responsible AI courses. Ayodele is an International Speaker and has given keynotes on algorithmic bias at conferences like PyData and the Women in Analytics Summit. As the founder of the AI Alternatives Lab, she works to design an AI future that’s equitable, non-exploitative, and transparent. Ayodele is a member of the National Society of Black Engineers and has been recognized as one of 100 Brilliant Women in AI Ethics.
